I have lived in this area for more than 18 years and although I own my home here now, I grew up in another small town near Santa Barbara...Solvang...ever been there?
Family is very important to me, as is my Danish Heritage. I was born in Vancouver, Canada, but am proud to be an American citizen, and also an Eagle Scout (honest). My best friends have always been women. I am a true gentleman and treat women like ladies, but hopefully you know how to act like one too.
I enjoy being out in nature, whether it's a short walk or a long hike. I like to fish & I am a hunter, but believe me... it's more the sport of adventure than the actual taking of an animal. I need to be upfront about this, because it seems to be a real deal-breaker with many ladies.
I don't expect you to join me, but you must be ok with the idea that it is something I really enjoy. Maybe you'd like to go camping or perhaps canoeing instead? I know of many beautiful spots, and am always excited to discover new areas as well.
I'm just now getting back into bee-keeping, so that's another fun thing I like to do & maybe you'd like to see the inside of an actual working bee hive too?
I have many other hobbies & even more interests...I'd probably even enjoy trying some of your favorites too...you'd be surprised. I am not embarassed to say that I am truly in touch with my sensitive side. (Yes, I have been known to cry at movies) I like visiting antique stores, cemeteries, & ghost towns, beach combing, fossil hunting & rock-hounding as well. I like taking drives to see/experience new places & things. I'm not a big team sports fan, and don't watch games on T.V. I have a dog, an Australian Shepherd (she is my very best friend). How's your frisbee tossing arm?

I think a casual meeting, perhaps for coffee, maybe a light lunch, & if we seem to enjoy one another's company then a stoll around town, or if you feel comfortable with that...a little walk about...so bring a comfortable pair of sneakers!
