What I am:
I'm a single parent blessed with one extremely intelligent, very beautiful daughter. She is my everything, so be advised of that. I'm a hard working individual, often to the point slavery. Honest as the day is long. I care for others, and do my very best to respect their wishes. Easy to get along with. I would ask for no more from someone, than I would gladly give in return. I have lived in small communities in Middle Tennessee since birth, except what time I served "Uncle Sam". So saying that I'm country folk, would be putting it mildly. I'm very quite and shy at first, and then just quite after knowing someone for a while. Most people would say I'm so quite that I'm weird. I appreciate the simple things that God has given us in life, and I try and take time to notice them everyday. I love music, especially the '80s rock and roll(my era), and today's country although it's getting harder to keep up with all the artists. Lately, I've gotten into talk radio(I know, weird again). My likes and dislikes are too numerous to list in one writing. I believe that's something that should go unsaid until you learn them. That's one of the beauties of falling in love, isn't it? Learning as you go. I have a need for my time, just as most people do. So if you're one of those that likes to have someone around all the time, it probably wouldn't work out. I'm mostly a stay at home, work around the house kind of guy. I'd rather sit by a backyard campfire and roast hotdogs and marshmellows, than go to some fancy five star restaurant where all the local "bigwigs" hang out. Although, I'm not against on going out occasionally. I have nothing to hide so any questions are always welcome, no matter the subject.

What I am not:
I'm not the best looking or brightest fish in the sea. I don't pretend to be someone that I am not just to impress. I'm not wealthy, don't have the finer things in life, and I'm perfectly happy with that. I'm not judgemental, nor do I want to be judged or changed. I'm not a great conversationalist. I can talk when there's something to be said, otherwise I just form an opinion and keep it to myself. If that's being selfish, then I suppose I'm guilty of that charge. So if you need cute, interesting, stimulating talk all the time, like I said there's always talk radio. Not a criminal, sex offender, axe murderer or any of those things which people associate with internet dating. I'm not a bible thumping, stand on a soapbox religious type. I do attend a small church, but not as regularly as I should. I do believe there's a higher being who created all the beautiful things in this grand ole world, and I choose simply to call Him God. I'm not a political type. Politics should be left to all the dishonest people. Not a lier or cheater. I'm not good at these written tests describing yourself for a sales pitch. If I had to depend on sales for a living, I'd starve. Couldn't sell the devil a lighter, then he probably wouldn't need one. All I can really tell ya is, try and get to know me, if I'm not what you're lookin' for, then we can move on, we're all adults or should be.

What I am lookin' for:
I'm looking for a best friend. A woman that is comfortable with where she wants to be in her life. Someone that likes kids, as I love them also. Some of God's greatest gifts. Someone to go on walks with, someone to share things with, build a future with. Someone who knows that life is what you make of it. It's not always a bed of roses or a cake walk down easy street, but two people, if determined enough, can make the best of any situation. Someone who appreciates the simple things, and is thankful for them, not how much you have or are going to get. A woman just as happy at home as she would be on New York's Fifth Avenue. Someone grounded and stable, preferably close.
