Hi there. I transferred to Plano about 2.5 years ago and I am interested in meeting someone for friendship and a possible relationship. I am a divorced father of two great teenage (young adult) kids. My son is a freshman in college in FL and my daughter is a junior in high school in VA. My friends would say that I am an honest, sincere and somewhat laid back person. I try not to dwell on the past, because what's done is done and you have to look to the future.
In my spare time I enjoy going to movies, taking walks and playing sports such as softball and racquetball. I love roller coasters and I also enjoy golf even though I'm not very good at it. I am not into the bar scene and I am a bit shy at first, but I warm up when I get to know someone. I have also had the privelage of having been able to go on two mission trips to Mexico and one to Honduras in the past few years and I hope to go on another one in the near future. I periodically volunteer at the homeless shelter and at the Buckner house organization.

For a first date I would probably do the somewhat typical thing by going to dinner. I think that when you first meet someone you should try to get into a comfortable environment for both so that you can spend some time talking and sharing without having to worry about anything else.
