Hi there! I’m currently employed with the Department of Homeland Security. I really enjoy my job, and love the fact that I spend most of my time on the move and not stuck behind a desk! I don’t have any plans for any big career changes, but after I retire (only 19 years left ;-) ) I’d like to start an executive security company, or maybe just buy a boat and run a charter fishing business. At the moment, though, I’m happy in my work, and we’ll see what the future holds!

I was born in Poland and moved to the U.S. with my immediate family when I was four. My family is very important to me, and I’m lucky to have a great relationship with them. They live close by in Maryland and we usually see each other a few times a month. My extended family is still in Poland, which I don’t get to visit as much as I’d like, but I have been there before. My friends also mean a lot to me, and when I’m not working I enjoy getting together with them for a movie, dinner at a new restaurant, or maybe even a road trip up to Philly for a cheesesteak ;-). I’m not a big drinker, but I’ll occasionally go out for a drink and conversation with friends. Social activities are great, but I also enjoy my time alone, and recently have started riding my motorcycle quite a bit. It’s a great way to relax and release stress after working so hard. I guess I’d have to say that my biggest passion, though, is traveling—something which I also get to do as a part of my job. So far, I’ve been to Mexico, Canada, England, Poland, Indian, and France. I also got my SCUBA certification a few years ago and went to Bermuda to do my first (and so far only) open water dive. I can definitely say that I’m hooked, and can’t wait until I have a chance to dive again!

I’m interested in a serious, committed relationship with someone honest, laid-back, and who doesn’t smoke. I do understand that most romantic relationships first begin as friendships, so why don’t we get together for a coffee or lunch—something low-key and relaxed—and see how things go from there ;-) ?!
