I am finished raising my daughter and now making time for me. Haven't been in the dating game so looking for new avenues to make friends, because we have all grown out of the bar scene...... I come from a large family and appreciate the fun and challenges that this brings to our lives. I do community volunteering. Love to sight see, beach, travel, read, politics, and all the usual things people write in these spaces. Honestly though, I don't water ski, scuba dive, sail, rock climb, bungee jump or all the other crazy stuff that some claim to do. I would love to meet someone who wants to do fun things.... we live near the Nation's capital and I enjoy museums, movies, shows, Mount Vernon, Old Towne...and Lowes. I am liberal in my politics as well as my thinking. Sorry I have allergies to indoor pets, so this could create a problem if you have any. I love children and substitute in an elementary school. Love to take long walks but not into working out or running marathons. I really enjoy old Motown music. Country music old and newer, don't like rap. Love to dance but haven't had much opportunity over the last few years. Love to watch Discovery Channel, History Channel, MSNBC, detective shows, but not into reality shows or slap stick comedy. I have a lot of years of living left and am looking for a fun companion to share it with... take a chance and meet the lady you haven't met yet.

First date could just be meeting for coffee - or we could just stroll. I am fun to be with and if you are too we could give it a try.
