I'm hoping to meet someone who 'has her head on straight' ....just seemed like the thing to put here! I'm attracted to intelligence and sensitivity and since I consider myself this type, I prefer a woman who is not afraid to show affection...ok, no I don't mean feeding each other with our fingers on the first date...or on the second date either...or ever actually! LOL I just feel it's important to say that I enjoy holding hands (yep, I'm so old fashioned) with that someone special and generally being affectionate.

I get through life with my sense of humour - what we can laugh at makes us stronger! Or what we cannot laugh at will kill us!

I'm somewhat active although to me, its all about DOING something and its definitely not about exercise. I hate that word. I like to throw my kayak on the roof and paddle somewhere, I enjoy playing hockey and riding my bike. In the winter, you'll find me on the slopes.
During the summer I'd live in the water if I could, so I definitely look forward to time at the cottage. I swim, scuba and generally just 'be' near the water.

Jeeesh as I read this, it sounds like I'm looking for an athlete BUT not true! If we have some or even a few of these in common well, that's a bonus.

Of course I know how to relax too. I read... mostly history & I like reading to learn & I love learning about new cultures and languages.

I'm comfortable in jeans or getting dressed up for a great night out.

I don't consider meeting for the first time to be a date - so something casual would be good. If we both pass our mutual 'test', then we might plan a date together.
