I thought I'd start the new year out a bit differently. I've been able to spend a lot of time being single and figuring out who I am and what I want and I'm very thankful for that. There are people that say I'm too picky but I think I'm just not willing to settle. I don't want it 'all' I just want the guy who fits nicely in my life and me in his! I'd like to say I'm thoughtful, romantic, independent, loyal and usually full of energy. People usually guess my age at 28 - 30. Even though I'm an independent girl on her own but I still like that guy who is nurturing and knows how to be romantic and thoughtful. I know I'm alright on my own but I'd truly like that companion that I can't wait to see and can't wait to call to fill him in on the latest news. I like to do soooo many things. I love music, dancing and movies. I've been known to dance for hours. I also am getting more into cycling. I recently completed my first century ride at the El Tour de Tucson. 109 miles in one day!! I'm very close to my family and believe that is very important. I also have an awesome group of friends that I spend a lot of time with. So here are some things I'm looking for in a guy: Honesty, loyalty, romantic, independent, strong, thoughtful and passionate. It is important that he is a social creature because a lot of time is spent with family and friends doing different things. Of course the attraction has to be there. It's all about the chemistry together. I'm sorry but you MUST have a picture or I'm not going to meet you. Communication is KEY, no beating around the bush and telling me all the things you think I want to hear just say it like it is and take your chances of it not working out. If it's meant to be, it will be. Please just be yourself. I also need someone who is secure and happy with himself and where he is in his life because only then will he be ready for a relationship.

There seem to be many on here that aren't taking this real seriously. I'm not interested in a texting or emailing relationship. If you are the type to text your first line of communication then you aren't the one for me....I'd much rather talk to you in person then an impersonal text message. :)

I think the first date can vary and it's going to depend upon how we've hit it off on the phones calls. More than likely a first date would be for a drink after work or maybe going for a really great cup of cofee at a local coffee house.
