Been alone 12 years now. My boys are just about grown, 17 and 20. I love to listen to music,all kinds really except country. I have a real passion for gardening and for painting. I have also spent the last 7 years rebuilding our farmhouse as green as possible. Yes, I've done quite a bit of it myself. I'm pretty handy with a screwdriver, chop saw, planer or Swiss army knife. I don't get my nails done or go to the beauty shop for my hair but I can really turn it on when the occasion arises. It would be nice to have someone for whom I would like to make that effort.
I have traveled all over the world with Tahiti being one of my fondest memories. Still looking to travel to Alaska and New Zealand someday. Maybe another cross country drive in the old VW bus will be in order.
I want the true romance, the real deal. Someone who is just fun to be with and who can enjoy life with me. I am very creative and passionate about whatever I am doing.
Anyway, life is too short to spend it alone.

My first date would be a quiet place for tea and conversation or a nice long walk along the shore, even in the winter. It might also be dinner in Paris. It's all up to the right man.
