I am happily NOT SINGLE now, thanks to POF. Took about 7 months on here before I met the woman that was right for me and vice versa. Now I'm just here for the forums and to mentor fishies when I have time. My profile is a good read, is accurate about me, and a good model to use for pointers.

I'm facetious with a sarcastic and quick witted sense of humor. I often talk in abstracts and can be obscure. I'm NOT a stand-up or slap-stick comedian. But, I don't take myself too seriously either. I'm not PC and my personality is very colorful! I'm just a regular, normal guy whom is not photogenic. I would say that I am somewhat old fashioned, with a modern flair. I'm shaved bald these days. I am my own boss and I don't live under someone else's roof.
I'm a sweetheart of a guy, without being a doormat. I'm a REAL man that handles business and takes no shyt. But I'm also sensitive to your needs. I'm not perfect, by any means. But I think that the right woman will find her life enhanced, with me in it. I'm very open, honest, and sometimes wear my heart on my sleeve. First Date

Don't you think you should just say hi and see where it goes?
Before describing a first date, tell me about you. What do I want to know? Anything that you feel like sharing with me AND things that I don't already know about you. I WILL say that Dutch is a language, not a spending habit, in my book. And I will NEVER take a lady to a fast food joint on a date, for many reasons! LOL
I've never been on a "bad" date. But, I feel like I know the person and feel comfortable interacting with them before a "date" ever becomes a possibility. Either via IM or phone conversation, or both, I think that we should have an established dialogue before discussing a "meet up."
I've been called "Too Picky" before. But if not being interested in those whom I'm not attracted to makes me picky? So be it.
What am I looking for? A woman that tosses the fricken rule book out the window!
There has to be more there than a "spark" or chemistry. I mean, I have chemistry with my friends. But that doesn't mean that I want to have any kind of intimate relationship with any of them. Mutual physical attraction. Conversation that you're always looking forward to. The desire and ability to meet me halfway in everything.

I like a feminine, girly girl. Someone that is Down to Earth and easy-going. She can easily be a home body or up for a road trip. Can find pleasure and joy in the simple things/little things. I like it when a woman smells good. NOT a strong and over-bearing perfume, but a light scent. One that you have to get really close up to even notice. I like a woman to have her own fashion sense and not be trendy. I want a woman that wants me as much as I want her and she's not afraid to express it. I like a VERY affectionate woman and PDA is A-ok with me. She must be able to give as good as she gets!
