| | Good luck with that quote as I've yet to meet someone who knows what movie it is from. Anyway I, like many of you, have no idea how to start a description of myself. They suggest hobbies, goals, taste in music, etc. While that may work, it's a bit boring.
However for those that do care about such things, I write for fun, I enjoy reading on every subject from the War of 1812 to quantum mechanics (and yes I enjoy fiction as well). I enjoy playing sports, specifically baseball, soccer, and basketball but I've never enjoyed viewing them nearly as much. I enjoy anything having to do with the web, but specifically developing/designing web sites, as I love both the creativity involved as well as the collaboration and involvement of others. If you haven't figured it out by now, I am rather geeky...
As far as music, I enjoy most types of music but I do find that most of the music released in the past five years or so seems to be lacking. There are exceptions to that, but generally speaking I've been unimpressed. With movies I enjoy almost anything as long as there is a decent story. That would exclude anything along the lines of, say, Jackass the Movie, but would include everything from Memento to even 28 Days Later. Although I will say that Shaun of the Dead is my favorite zombie movie...
Now if you're like me, you care more about personality than likes/dislikes. I've been called odd or at least my sense of humor has been called that. I have a dry sense of humor that many people don't pick up on. I'm extremely open to new ideas and will try almost anything. While I enjoy talking with someone, I love listening. If you have stories that are interesting, I'll listen to you all night and if they're boring I'll listen until I fall asleep.
At this point, I think that I've talked enough. There is plenty more to know about me but as I've said before I'd much rather listen to you. So send me a message. Also I do have images and am willing to share. |

For a first date, I like getting to know the other person. So going somewhere where I can hear you would be first on my list. Maybe dinner, coffee, etc. and depending, dancing would be fun but really it depends on the mood of the moment as to what we would do. |
