Family is first in my life and mine means a great deal to me. I put my family above everything and always will no matter what. When I'm not spending time with my family I spend a lot of time working, but I do like to have fun too.

I enjoy most activities, but I admit I don't do as much as I should. The last new thing I tried was a boot camp for 8 weeks, and I thought it was amazing and made me feel on top of the world. Sometimes it's nice to just relax and enjoy life. Truthfully, I'm not a big fan of the winter, so I spend a lot of time indoors watching movies and sitting by a fire (I get cold easily!). I absolutely love the summer and try to spend a lot of my time outside. Even if it's just sitting out on a patio. I like going for walks, long drives on a nice day, movies and dining out.

I am a single mother, however my kids are older (I was very young when I had them). I'm definitely not into the bar scene, so I find it hard to meet single people around my own age. I moved after my divorce and spent all of my time taking care of my children and working towards getting my education. Now I have a fantastic career and am quite independent, content, and have a great head on my shoulders. But, my kids are older now and I find at the end of the day I miss having someone to share the day to day joys of life with. A friend told me about this site, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm not sure I'm cut out for meeting people this way. I definitely prefer the old fashioned way of meeting people, but life just doesn't seem to allow for that these days!

Going for coffee or a drink the first time we meet would be great. If we're both interested in a second time around, then a quiet dinner in a place we can chat and get to know each other better would be nice.
