Been a 'BAD BOY' for the better part of my life and in the midst of trying to become a better person.Getting away from old friends and crap that I've out grown.A fresh new start.Just looking to settle down with that right someone.Doorman/bouncer and security for concerts,sporting events,festivals,etc.Musically,I'm pretty diverse.Because of where I work,I tend to enjoy the heavier stuff(SALIVA,GODSMACK,BLACK LABEL SOCIETY,etc..),but do have guilty pleasures such as John Mayer (SHHHHH!) and of course Led Zeppelin (the greatest band EVER!).Pretty much down to earth,watch JEOPARDY religiously (guess that makes me nerdy),play hockey and golf,witty and sarcastic sense of humour,blunt as a sledgehammer,loyal as hell and as real as they come.Going to school in the fall to complete refrigeration ticket.A softy once you get past my walls and a die hard romantic at heart.Just looking for 'the girl next door' to live,laugh and love with.

I guess I'm on here because I feel like I'm lost.Was with my 'soulmate' for 5 years and have spent the last 2 1/2 years finding every excuse not to date again.I let someone get so close that they ripped me apart and I've been scared to go down that road again.Where I work,I deal with a lot of women(strippers...lol),but they are all like sisters to me.Their sisterly advice has been to get back on the horse,so out of respect for them,here goes...

Born and raised in Kitimat and would like to think I maintained my small town values and 'life code'.Because I worked in the bar industry for so long,looking for someone who DOESN'T go 'clubbing'!Have met and known my fair share of 'Bar Stars' and am not interested in the least.First time trying the 'online' thing and not too sure what to expect,so keeping an open mind.Does anyone know what ever happened to falling in love?Apparently I'm just really old fashioned and believe in getting to know someone in person,rather than 'online'.Remember when you would meet someone for the first time and and how it made you feel all nervous and panicky...hmmmmmmm...that actually sounds like food poisoning...

Ideally,I'd like to meet that woman I can't stop thinking about when she's not around.The kind that makes me nervous and sweaty when I see her.The woman who accepts me for who I am,flaws and all.

Definately somewhat shy at first,but being a TAURUS and German/Irish...bull in a china shop after that.lol.I'm sure none of this 'sells' me,but if you have an open mind and genuinely are looking to start as friends and find out if there is chemistry or a spark(I'm a HUGE believer in chemistry),give me a shout.Good luck to everyone out there.
