".........on behalf of the Captain and crew, we thank you for flying Air Canada".........just then he awoke from a dream about her. He could smell her perfume...........feel her soft hair brush against his face. He'd been gone 6 long months and would soon be home with her again. He could still feel the harsh sand stinging his face and hear the rifle shots ringing in his ears. It will be good to forget those things............which he will do the instant he sees her.

The airplane lands softly. He knows he is home again. The sun is shining brightly today. He wouldn't care if it was pouring rain, he just wants to see her and look into her eyes again........soon. He laughs as he thinks of how surprised she will be when he calls. Luckily his flight arrived early and he can surprise her...............

He gently dials her number.............."hello"? He hears her sweet voice on the other end of the line. He takes a short breath..........."don't speak, just listen"........."meet me at the water." He knows that she knows exactly where that is. They spent many relaxing hours there before he left. He hangs up before she can begin to speak.

It is nice to feel the ocean breeze on his face and hear the water. It was something he dearly missed. He sat where she couldn't see him. He knew she would be here any minute. She was probably driving like a mad woman. The familiar sound of her car door closing grabs his attention and he turns to see her. Right now she was the only thing he could see. She was all that mattered to him. The sounds that rang in his ears over the last 6 months had disappeared and all he wanted to hear was her sweet voice. He watched as she walked over to their spot. She was beautiful.

He let her look for him. She sat on the log where they usually sit. "Late as usual" she whispered. He quietly walked up behind her and knelt on the log where she sat. The sound of the water masked his footsteps as he approached. He slowly leaned toward her and kissed her ever so gently on the neck.

"You sneaky bugger" she said as she jumped up. She turned to face him........they both just looked into each other's eyes..........a sight neither one had seen for so long. He reached out and took her soft hand. "Come over here" he quietly said to her. She stepped over the log. He pulled her in tightly against his body. She felt so nice against him. She sighed......"I thought you were never going to get home". He slowly pulled back just enough to look into her eyes. "I have a little something for you, but first this......" He put his hand gently behind her head and pulled it up to his. Her lips never felt as good as right now. Time stood still...........

"Turn around" he said. She wondered what was going on but did what he asked. He reached around in front of her with both hands and revealed a necklace he bought her. He gently let it fall around her neck as he fastened it. She turned around to face him. "Its beautiful" she said. He noticed it was slightly covered by her blouse. With a smile he slowly undid her top button so he could see it against her skin. "That's better" he said.

Without a word he turned and took her hand. They began to walk along the beach. She could feel the heat of his rough hand. He couldn't believe how great she felt next to him. He let her hand go and put his hand over her shoulder. She moved right up against him. This was what he missed.................CONTACT. Tonite she is going to experience pleasure like never before........It was a long and beautiful night.
