I love christian comtemporary music - Bebo Norman, Mark Schultz, Casting Crowns etc...and I enjoy going to the concerts. I am a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, Pregnant with Cancer Network and The Young Survival Coalition and I enjoy participating in events that educate awareness and raise money to fight the fight. I am a born again Christian, I have a heart for God, I attend church regularly as it is a fundamental and foundational part of my life. I am an free-hand artist, I personally don't enjoy creating art on the computer although I am impressed by what others create. I love to write poetry, particularly when it is inspired and brings hope, healing and encouragement to myself or others. Some of my personal goals are to write and illustrate children's books, write an inspirational book to those battling cancer and particularly women with breast cancer, and to start selling my artwork. Until now my artwork has always been gifts for family or friends. I very much enjoy being outside and I love to travel. One of my favorite destinations is the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Absolutely gorgeous there! Family is most important to me after my relationship with Christ and I take my calling as Mom very seriously. Motherhood is miraculous, adventurous, exhausting and precious.

My first date preference(and even second date, if there is one) is to keep it simple and plan it for late morning, afternoon or early evening. The activities I have found to be worth avoiding for first dates are high dollar restraunts, movies, concerts, clubs and anything similar that would make it virtually impossible to use our time wisely getting to know about each other. My time is precious as is most individuals and although I want to have "fun" on a first date, most importantly to me is I want for both of us to be able to walk away from the experience knowing with some certainty whether or not our connection is worth investing more time or not. Obviously not every criteria can be discussed in a first date, how boring, BUT if the first date is loud music or a quiet, dark theatre all we can base our meeting on is physical attraction. Physical attraction and chemistry is important to all of us but it is not what lasting relationships are founded on.
