Not looking for much, mostly some chemistry. I think looks are important, especially for an initial attraction, however, an intelligent woman who is witty and has a great sense of humor are key ingredients for a lasting relationship.

I enjoy outdoor activities. Spending time at the lake, taking long walks (doesn't EVEERYONE say that??), or relaxing in the hammock are all great ways to share a few moments. I have a wild streak, but also a subdued, deliberate side. I am very passionate about certain things that may scare some people away. Things such as politics, religious and moral beliefs, and family values.

A perfect day for me could be anything from a day on the golf course, rafting, yard work, or a big pot of chili, popcorn and videos. An occasional night on the town is a great way to relieve stress. I have a 14 year old son. He is the most precious gift God has ever given me. We enjoy spending time together, golfing, baseball, fishing, hanging out. As he matures, his time with dad compared to his time with friends sort of shifts. I understand it's all part of growing up. I guess I just don't want to wake up one day and realize my "little man" is grown, and dad no longer has anyone to hang out with! lol

Even though I love to play golf, I also enjoy more physical sports as well. I enjoy weights, playing football, used to play over 200 softball games a year all over the country, and can maintain interest in almost any sporting event with the exception of soccer. I don't mind card games, video games, or being the occasional couch potato, but I just can't figure out why poker is on ESPN? I never realized it was a sport...

I stopped caring long ago about what others thought, provided I didn't do anything to hurt anyone, I feel perfectly free to explore the world according to the needs of my family and loved ones. I am a Christian, and believe Our Country was founded on Christian values, and if we are to prosper we can't continue to kick God out.

People who are shallow, arrogant, and rude; mean to animals, bully's, make fun of others to reassure their self esteem really baffle me.

Would prefer something not typical. Movies prevent people from talking. Some women I've met are a little funny about eating in front of a man on their first date. Others hawg all the wings! Maybe putt putt, the zoo, a trip to the lake...you know, a place we can dump each other if things don't work out! lol
