I grew up in Michigan, went to University of Michigan School of Music, and upon graduation, moved to Los Angeles for 12 years. I moved to Chicago a couple of years ago to be closer to my family. Right about now, I miss the warm weather!

I love to cook all types of food and I also teach Indian cooking classes. Since I love to cook, I'd like a guy who loves to eat all types of food. (But it shouldn't show: he should be in great physical shape!) I love having people over for dinner and drinks, but I also really enjoy trying new restaurants, lounges, and bars. I like to paint and design spaces for friends and family, and some times, a paying client. I love going to baseball games, playing beach and indoor volleyball and spending a lazy Sunday hanging out with my black lab mix.

I don't date or hang out with smokers (even social smokers!) due to the consequence smoke has on my throat and voice... it affects my work (sorry if I sound harsh). And if we do end up dating, you've gotta love dogs!

Wine bar, martini lounge, or coffee. I like to take things a bit slow, not jump into a dinner date right away. If the first date goes well, I'm up for going to dinner and spending more time getting to know each other.
