Raised in Europe have lived in California and Maryland for too many years. Teaching Art at College level. Physically fit and naturally slim, with Scottish ancestry, red hair, pale freckled skin, hazel eyes.

Work best with other Artist or creative types with good conversation skills, a sense of humor and a focused interest in the visual arts or crafts.

Dislike and distrust consumerism, live my life as European eduction would suggest. At home walking in the wild or on city streets, like walking with a friend and a dog for companionship. Like to make images of landscapes as inspiration for my artwork, i photograph continually especially now with digital being so easy to process.

Am involved in the Arts with a particularly interested in the Environment and Landscape, was raised in England but have lived here many years, in Maryland had a garden design business which i would like to restart once the economy improves. Love good quality art, music, architecture and gardens which are appropriate to the event or surroundings.

Have no children of my own but am open to someone who does, enjoy my Sisters teenagers so much. Being close, coordinated and fully in tune with my partner is very important to me, full trust and a feeling of closeness is what i desire most.

Although i still have a house in Maryland, will be buying or building a new one soon, location is not decided.

What do you appreciate most about life where you live. I love the openness of multicultural societies and a wonderful coastal climate.

Chatting by IM or phone then a first meeting would feel comfortable in a Cafe or somewhere quiet where we could walk and talk, book store or a quiet urban square would be fine! I would be open to suggestions from you.

Hiking winter or summer would be a wonderful as a later date and chance to really get to know each other. Will be pleased to leave this 'dating site' when i fall in love.
