Well, I am pretty much an odd, but loving and caring person. I try to be very optimistic and friendly, although I can be shy at times. But when I am passionate about something of interest, I spring alive. I can be quite silly or serious at the same time. I am looking for someone who is not one-dimensional and who seeks for a life better than what is expected of them.
I do alot of volunteer work in the community, since social activism is one of my interests, and I want to go either into teaching or into community work when I finish school.
I'm pretty open with music tastes, but I love watching movies (but not big blockbuster or predictable films), as well as watching polital comedy shows like the Daily Show/Colbert Report.

First dates are pretty open in possibilities- it really depends on the person. I am not clubbing/hard core party person.

For a first date, I would do something that did not involve going to a mall or any commercial centre! Maybe sitting down for coffeee, hot chocolate, etc. What would be perfect though is going to some type of cultural event in the city, or somewhere like the museum or art gallery.
