I love to travel. Over the past three years I've gone on a Mediterranean cruise and stayed a week in Turkey. Have spent a lot of time in Mexico sailing and fishing. Went to Spanish school in Antigua, Guatemala for a couple of weeks. Each summer it is off to Ontario, Canada for more fishing. Visited an old buddy in Sydney, Australia and spent a week each in Tasmania and Northern Queensland while there. (and planning to return this spring) Last November spent the month in Chile going to the lake district, Patagonia, Santiago and Easter Island.
I hope there are more travels in my future and hopefully with an attractive, enthusiastic, intelligent and affectionate companion.
I am originally from New York, went to college in Virginia (William and Mary), followed by service in the Marine Corps and graduate school in New York.(MBA Columbia Univ.) After grad school came to CA and have never looked back. My entire career was in the food business with major companies until my last job where I was President of a smaller $150 million operation. Retired in 1996.

I am not the type that likes to spend hours on the phone before meeting someone face to face. For first dates I liked to have a drink, coffee, or a nice meal.
