Not looking for a relationship at the moment, but thought I'd use this site to try meeting some cool, and more importantly, drama-free people to go check out shows with.

Currently working towards a doctorate in audiology (which takes up most of my time), but I keep myself sane through exercise and practicing this obscure dance style called "popping." After a long day, I'd choose relaxing at home, but that doesn't mean I don't like going out.

Music plays a really big part of my life and I practically have either hip hop music (the meaningful kind, mind you) or jazz being played 24/7 in the background when I'm at home. Always actively seeking new stuff, but some of the artists on continuous rotation are: J Dilla, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Blackalicious, Pharoahe Monch, Immortal Technique, Lupe Fiasco, The Roots, Little Brother, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Pete Rock, DJ Shadow, Radiohead, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Marvin Gaye.

Personality wise, I'm a ambitious yet easy going person who wouldn't be able to live without humor or laughter. Around others, I'm neither the life of the party nor the wallflower. If I had to chose between talking and listening, I'd probably chose the latter.

Finally, since this tends to be an issue for most people here... I'm a big proponent of weed over alcohol (in case you're wondering how I'm doing in school, I have a 4.0)
