I love sunny days and cool nights on the beach, bonfires, canoeing, fishing, camping...basically anything outdoors.Not fond of the bars but I do love an afternoon at a local beach restaurant: sitting in the sun, enjoying appetizers, drinks, and live music.

Who I am:
I like hiking, I like fishing....short daytrips to enjoy a National Park or walk around enjoying sights. I am more comfortable around a small group of friends, in shorts & t's....having a cookout or fishing excursion than I am in some upscale restaurant trying to figure out what bottled water to order.

What I'm looking for:
Finding someone who likes to take things slow...develop a friendship first..share some laughs and happy afternoons...not looking for someone constantly checking out the environment for their next conquest...or an improvement...an "upgrade"...if you need that...I suggest the local car lot. I don't want to be on the phone non-stop or my cellphone needing charging more often from excessive text messages....it takes TIME to get to know someone...and only time allows the real person to shine through....I don't want to feel like I'm jockeying for pole position....either it's there or it's not....I can't stand being forced into a corner to talk on the phone...or texted non-stop. I have a job, a son, and two dogs that need attention too. I would like a friendship based on honesty, courtesy, respect, kindness, compassion, loyalty,and loaded with tons of laughs so a sense of humor is a must!

....a casual dinner...some laughs...light conversation....perhaps a meeting at a coffee shop...or a drink on the boardwalk...something without pressure but offering opportunity to get to know one another and decide if anything is to follow...
