Hey Friends!

Welcome to my profile - make sure you are seated and prepare to be amazed by my dazzling wit at charm. Wait never mind thats definitely setting expectations to high. I'm shooting for that sweet spot of not overwhelming or underwhelming I'm just trying to whelm you - so hows that going so far?

I live in Alexandria with a roommate and his two spiteful little cats. Just recently I quit my job because it was sucking the life out of me. Literally I think sometimes when I dozed off in my cubicle (it was boring) they ambushed me with some sort of alien device that actually sucked the life from me. So now I'm focusing on now is going back to school in the fall for a career change.

For fun I love going on mini adventures like wine tastings, hikes or rock climbing. I'm also a big fan of history and can spend a whole day at a museum (my fave is the MET). Any kind of art show is also an awesome way to spend an afternoon in my book, just recently went to the Torpedo Factory for the first time and absolutely loved it. Basically anything I've never done before is fun for me so if you have ideas throw them my way.

As far as music goes I get along with just about everything, with my favorites being rock and classical.

Going forward some things you should also know:
1) I don't do especially well on the dance floor (unless i'm drunk)
2) Can't get enough of my iPhone (I lost it for two days and had withdrawals)
3) Don't care much for tequila (or gin)
4) I don't gamble (unless its strip poker)
5) Usually my made up recipes taste good (...)
