O.k., so let me keep this simple...

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am very open and honest, and I expect the same from anyone I would consider a relationship with. Like me, my match should have a "what you see, is what you get" mentality. I enjoy intellectual conversation and yet still enjoy discussing insignificant trivia on occasion. I like to experience new things to do with my limited spare time. Scuba diving is my newest hobby and I can't believe that I have only just discovered it.

I believe in integrity, and old school manners, which I believe has been lost to some degree in our current society. If you want the door opened for you and for someone to say "bless you" when you sneeze, I am that guy.

I have been working in the entertainment industry, either as a performer, composer, or in high tech my entire adult life, so how can you not have a sense of humor when you are around that nonsense. My match should have a good sense of humor as well. This is extremely important. I believe laughing together is one of the most important things to a healthy relationship. I am typically a very optimistic person, but have a dark sense of humor on occasion; a sarcastic wit, fueled by experience. Because of my exposure to this industry I often come across women who are, well.. superficial. I avoid them like the plague. I'm looking for someone that's down to earth, and can just be themselves without any ulterior motives.

I find it interesting that there is a category for money earned by matches. I make a good living, but don't think it appropriate to announce my earnings on a public website. Besides, I want someone to want me for me, and not for how much I earn. The fact is, I do quite well for myself, but I won't be able to fly you in my privately owned Gulf Stream to St. Lucia if that is what you are looking for. So, don't respond if your motivation is money. Money comes and goes... fun, love, and family are forever. Speaking of which...

I have two lovely daughters and love them more than life itself. They give meaning to my existence. Unfortunately, I do not get to spend nearly enough time with them (every other weekend). It is important for me to find someone who is fond of children and if and when the time is right, I can feel comfortable introducing my match to them. I have been separated for over two years now. I know the word "separated" might concern some. However, legal divorce papers are being prepared as I write this.

I am not sure what else to say. This is the first time I have tried the online thing. Many have told me it works so, I'm giving it a shot. I'm not looking for a cheap thrill. I was married for many years and although we weren't right for each other does not mean I won't find someone who is. Perhaps this is the first step in finding that person. All I ask is that whoever I find, or finds me, is honest and caring.

I would like to get to know the person I am with to see if she shares the same values and love of life that I have. A couple of venues that are nice to do this in, are a restaurant, bar or coffee shop. Being that I enjoy fine cuisine, restaurants are not a bad choice for me. However, it is whatever works for my date as well. It is about agreeing on things, and this even means the first meeting. So, I am open to anything that works.
