Hmm, I think of myself thankfully well-travelled, well-bred (whatever that may mean), well-educated, and have often been labeled, um, entertaining.

I think that label is my friends' way of telling me they love me.

There is too much life to pick favourites of anything, with two exceptions, I suppose. My three favourite books are Ender's Game, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, and In a Sunburnt Country. Why? Not because they are the "best," but because they are the only books I've encountered thus far that I wish to re-read. Yup, that's my simple criteria that is not often met.

If I had to choose a favourite colour it would be orange. (Though purple is the coolest.) I unable to explain other than to say I'm simply drawn by its appearance. And of course any list of favourites or preferences is subject to change - it's a right I reserve.

Finally, I am new to (and excited about) Scotland.

The woman I seek must consider herself smarter than the average bear. I ask that she think of herself as attractive (yes, yes, chemistry, the beholder's eye, and so on ); and energetic. Of course it's true that women are beautiful no matter their age, but I do ask that her's sit somewhere in the late 20s to late 40s range, with weight proportional to height.

So now the nutshell is cracked. Time to eat the nut inside...
