I think we all can relate to that little verse by Rumi, a Persian poet. That's why we're all on this dating site.
The person I'd like to share my life with will be wildly attracted to me (as I will be to him), well-educated, intelligent, adventurous, and upbeat with a great sense of humor. And, like me, he will understand that we can't read each other's minds, so he's willing and able to communicate openly and honestly, compromise, and really wants to devote the time and effort to a long-term relationship at this stage in his life. He understands that it's important to have regard for each other's feelings.
As for interests, I like concerts, theater, dining out, movies, occasional family gatherings, getting together with friends, museums, and traveling, especially abroad and in the U.S. The main thing is that each brings interests and life's experiences to a relationship, which can be shared and taught.
