I meant to update this a while ago but now seems as good a time as any ... who really likes writing these anyways let alone updating it??

I moved to the island at the start of the year (09 in case I don’t update this again for a while). I’m from New Brunswick, did my degree in Computer engineering at UNB then joined the army. I transferred to the air force 2 years ago, and got posted out here right after course. It’s a great job – the mountains make it a bit more challenging but its fun. I haven’t had a chance to see much of the island yet. I’ve been a bit busy renovating my place but hopefully that’ll be done by Christmas ... I hope.

Now the fun part – about me. Where to start ... I love animals – I grew up on a farm, and wouldn’t mind doing some horseback riding while out here – I haven’t ridden in years. And now that I'm out here I guess I have to partake in the many wonders of the west coast. I woulnd't mind learning to ski and kayak, and plan to get my motorcycle license sometime soon. I've heard there are lots of caves, waterfalls and trails to hike so that will keep me occupied once my renos are done. I love cooking, baking, reading, trying new things, walks in the rain ... when it's warm, love to travel but haven't had much chance to yet. Personality wise - I'm a mix of high strung and laid back haha if that makes any sense. I guess you will have to meet me to find out :-) I'm laid back in the sense that I will just go with the flow, and am open to things, and high strung because my mind is always going and worried about what I have to do next. I've had a very busy last year so hopefully I can relax soon :-) So yea, I'm very motivated, I work hard, dedicated, passionate, I need someone I can talk to about anything, cuddle with, complain to and not have the guy assume I'm mad at him or something he did (I hate that), sometimes a girl just wants to complain and have someone there to listen to them :-). This is hard so I'm going to stop soon. K - What I want in a guy .. someone who can laugh at me when I'm being stupid, someone I can't wait to see, who I always get excited to see, someone I can't be mad at because I hate being mad or fighting, and someone who I'm comfortable being around, even in those usual awkward silent moments. That's a lot to ask for eh haha ... you do realize I am a woman and this changes constantly :-)

I'm done writing. I think I've rambled enough. :-)

I'm up for anything except probably a fancy restaurant ... I'm picky ... and usually spill stuff on myself. You can save the fancy places for a special occasion - otherwise, anything fun will do. Oh and I love flowers .. not date flowers or anniversary flowers, random flowers are fantastic!
