Picture yourself on life's journey, where you want to be now and in the future. Visualize the person you might like to know completely, who would be your dream to accompany you in those picures. I am looking for the last relationship in my life. I spend time on the road dealing with clients in multiple states in a sales profession. It is a pleasure to meet new people whether we continue in a romantic relationship or become friends. My hope is to find a a friendship that ignites into a lifelong romance. We are all here for the same reasons and I am no different than the rest. By writing what follows, I hope you get a better idea of my personality and my approach to life. I find that I fit best with those who are worldly yet unaffected. I classify myself as a culture freak, therefore, I relate to all classes, stations, creeds, races, and religions with ease, having personally experienced an eclectic group of friends, acquaintances and experiences. If English is your first language, please have a basic command of it. Know the difference between Your and You're. If Spanish is your first language, my skills are poor but I have always wanted to learn. Maybe your patience to teach will exceed my impatience to learn. I prefer the use of complete sentences when communicating and refrain from text abbreviations. I prefer the phone over email or texting. Sharing a funny or bad dating experience is ok, but let's leave our past lives/exes just there, in the past. We have a limited time left on the planet, hopefully we can start some new experiences and not relive the old ones. If you consider yourself very outgoing, if you are comfortable with who you are and where you are, like crowds and being alone with yourself as well, we would be a fit. If you like the outdoors during summer and winter, the mountains and the beach, motorcycles, big dogs and being on adventures, let's talk. Some people will wear out and some will rust. I prefer the former than the latter. Remember that momentum can take us through many things in life. Momentum is the opposite of apathy. I choose to create momentum! I hope that by providing you some information about me you will know whether you are interested in meeting me. What I write is not intended to offend anyone. These are just my preferences. That being said, here goes: I enjoy exploring small towns off the beaten path. Golf, basketball, cookouts, beaches, mountain trips, reading, early morning drinking coffee and sharing the paper, movies, community service.

Aruba, Europe, Hilton Head Island, Fiji, New York, San Francisco, Summer Pops, back roads to mountains and beaches, small towns, posh resorts and simple cabins, fireplaces and screened porches.

I love cheeseburgers, thunderstorms, lazy weekends, Seinfeld, Andy Griffith, and Cheers reruns, movies such as Field of Dreams, Phenomenon, My Life, and Pay it Forward, bourbon, margaritas, barbecues, the elderly, teenagers, children, volunteering, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Warren Buffett and Jimmy Buffett.

It is with great anticipation that I move into the next adventure in life making new friends but also finding a lifelong companion. I am fairly well read, use proper etiquette and manners, tend to be a little more jovial than most and enjoy where I am and who I am with. You will also find that there are certain subjects that men like to interject into conversation prior to meeting. Feel comfortable that will not happen with me until we have met a t least a couple of times or unless you broach the subject first. However, don't confuse that last statement with a lack of desire, drive or enthusiasm, as I assure you that is not the case. I like to spend time with friends and family. I am a decent cook and do so every week. I can prepare a meal for 2 or 20 without a hitch. I have a couple of locally famous dessert recipes I will be glad to try out on you should we get to that point. I would much rather invite you and your friends over for dinner to meet with me and my friends, than to go to a crowded noisy restaurant. I want to be with a fairly uninhibited person who is somewhat adventurous both at home and away. I do drink regularly, however, I can count on 1 hand all the times in my life when I drank more than acceptable. I like large dogs. I am infatuated with women of all shapes and sizes, but I do want a complete package who will compliment me and I her. I am sure I could go on and on, however, that is what getting to know others is all about. Let's meet and get to know one another. Picture me as Rhett Butler and yourself as Scarlett O'Hara. My Dear Scarlet,
As destiny would have it, we have become separated either by time or distance or both. If you should read this after my memory has faded from your view, please know that yours is ever distinct in mine. I hope my words will refresh the impression you have made indelibly upon me. You possess incomparable beauty and a spirit knowing no bounds. Your presence fills a room as does the scent of lavender on a breezy spring day. Your gaze from across the room can move me to ignore the end of the world and your passion could simultaneously light 10,000 candles. You are that contradiction that is the model of well groomed politeness and erudition, yet a spontaneous uninhibited panther, all within the confines of whatever the situation avails. The sight of you across the dance floor as I return with your drink or sitting on the edge of the porch, cotton dress and bare footed enjoying the early warm summer breeze, is both beautiful and electrifying. I am captivated by your smile. You are as beautiful in the morning with tousled hair and sleepy eyes as you are when we make the most of ourselves in our finest to meet the world. I long to know where you are, as I still yearn to drive all night, as before, just to smell your scent. I have crossed mountains only to find you are not on the other side. I can still see your form against the moonlight standing at the window as you take in the spring air for a moment before returning to my side. I still long for the nights when we made dinner together, time passing and sometimes dinner being laid aside as we become caught up in the moment with each other. I love the looks we get from the other men, them wanting you and me knowing you are mine, at least tonight. I have thoughts of you that must remain unspoken as they may not come to fruition again. Restraint when we are together is barely possible at least until we are alone. Touching you is electrifying. Your long deep passionate kisses are inescapably intoxicating! I dream of the day when we will walk again at sunrise through the surf and drink margaritas until we find that silliness that eludes us much of the time. I search faces in the crowd hoping yours will appear. Until such time as that might come to pass.......

Lunch, coffee, dinner or drinks for a brief first meeting that allows us to see if we hit it off. I would prefer no chain restaurants, somewhere by the water, quiet but alive with energy, a place where we can concentrate on one another and whether we might have a future, whether short or long! If butterflies don't accompany our meeting or some undefined yet clear connection, at least we can say we met a new friend. From there anything is possible!
