I would describe myself as an upfront, intelligent, no b.s. kinda guy. My primary interests surround the ocean as I fish, spearfish and freedive as often as possible regardless of the season or weather; although I simply love being outdoors in general even if I am restricted to the land. The indoor activities I enjoy include plenty of weight training to facilitate my watersports and just get bigger and stronger as well. I take great pride in keeping fit and eating clean and am fully dedicated to both. In addition I can, and often do, spend numerous hours with a pen and notebook writing anything from poetry to short stories and provacative essays. Right now I'm trying to take these passions of mine and refine them into a career as an outdoor journalist or photo journalist, but I've also been considering environmental law as well. Like most 22yr old guys, however, I'm never opposed to a fun night out with good drinks and good friends.

On a final note I have to stress that I am very outspoken individual who isn't afraid to verbalize what's on my mind or even be silly for that matter. So if you are looking for an honest, fun-loving guy you have found him.

The first date should be intimate but comfortable. Most likely it would entail going somewhere we could first talk and get to know each other better and then we can see where things go. I'm a genuine guy with no illusions and when I find a girl I truly like am very much a romantic as well.

With respect to what I expect in a woman it isn't much...just be yourself. I hate when people put up facades to hide their true nature. Another thing I find very important is honesty. The foundation of a good relationship is being able to communicate freely and not hold back secrets regardless of what they may be. Being open can only lead to comfort, happiness, and complete trust and who doesn't want those things?
