My hobbies include cooking up a storm every day and trying exotic recipes. Good enough is not good enough for me. Whoever I cook for has to walk away from the meal saying it was superb! I have already run through all of my interests once and I am now planning round two of: just connecting with someone that is an authentic person that has a jouix de vivre. That someone may or may not connect with some of things that capture my interest or not! These interets include: flying, sailing, golf, tennis, salsa dancing, bridge, ocean kayaking, amateur theater, writing, architecture, painting, cycling, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, literature, art, archeology, travel, cruising and fine dining.

My goals include finding a companion, now that I have pretty well accomplished the rest of what I had set out for myself. Winning the lottery would be great! But, I am happy with where I am right now. I have other goals, but they are not relevant to this web site and I would be happy to share these with the right person.

I am definately one of a kind and have a lot of spirit and enthusiasm and all this with a touch of class. No dancing on tables for me but, I don't judge those that do and I thoroughly enjoy their comapny and their ability to draw me out of myself. I welcome those breaks from taking life too seriously. I am also very interested in new age spirituality though, I can't say I have reached that level yet but, I am working on it. There is always room for improvement and becoming a better person.

I love life and that includes all forms of music except for maybe rap but, then there is some rap that I also find enjoyable. I appreciate quality, talent, intelligence and charisma.

I am interested in meeting someone that has learned the lessons of life; one that has been knocked around a bit by the journey and that in spite of the bruises (and perhaps a few broken bones!) can still maintain a positive outlook; one that is ready to meet a "real" woman - like the women that European movies portray as oppossed to the Hollywood movies we have all been influenced by. I am looking for an "authentic" man.

I understand that I am no longer the beauty that I used to be and that the sands of time have etched their mark on me. I love my laugh lines and the fine wrinkles around my eyes and the lines around my mouth that indicate that "I have smiled a lot!" I would like to meet a man that can see the beauty in the wrinkles and the story of the character they portray. I am not your average woman and the man I seek is not the average man either. Are you him?

Doesn't matter as long as you can capture my heart with your wit, charm and sincerity - that is all that it would take.
