So first off, I'm supposed to tell you about me then I'm supposed to tell you what I am looking for. I joined this site to see what is out there and get a feel for a different crowd. I'm not going to write anything completely devoid of originality or creativity like "I like to spend time with my friends" because who doesn't?

I'm funny, well educated, clever, sarcastic, flirtatious, street smart, clean and fit. I love to cook, watch movies, try new restaurants, go on road trips and travel. I listen to music for almost as many hours as I am awake. I spend most weeknights at home, relaxing. I make it to the gym about 4 times a week and spend much more time there than most people. I feel that my health is very important and I do things to maintain it like regular exercise and staying away from nutritionally absent foods. I use punctuations when I write and my vocabulary is larger than lol, bro, OMG!, "pass me another beer," and DUDE! I love photography, cars, motorcycles, hiking, camping, and fires. I love spontaneity. I don't need a reason to drive around and look at the stars at 11:30 pm on a Wednesday.

It upsets me that most people think they can get around with their looks alone. I'll tell you the truth, you could be the sexiest woman in the world but if your IQ is less than that of a box of donuts I will walk away. Looks are only skin deep and while they are important to some level, they aren't the only thing that matters. If you can't hold a conversation then don't expect me to. And if you can't say anything more than "Hey I think you are cute" don't expect a response. I have a lot of stories I can tell you; I have traveled the entire United States; I have lived in Mexico for a year and a half; I have seen and heard many things. But if you aren't interesting then I'm not interested.

I'm looking for a woman that has found herself, someone who knows who she is. I don't want to date a kid, I want to date an adult. A major turn on is someone who is comfortable talking about herself. I want to get to know you. I'm looking for someone that wants more than just another friend. I have great friends that will never be replaced but I'm not about to have a romantic relationship with any of them. I have been told that I am too good for the bad girls but too bad for the good girls. Whatever that means.

I like to go to clubs and bars every once in a while. I like to watch "the game." No, I do not drink. It has never really appealed to me. Don't ask me if I want a beer, the answer is no. However, I do cook with wine and liquor. I will make you the best tequila lime shrimp or citrus rum chicken you've ever had. I don't care if you drink as long as you do it responsibly. Drinking doesn't bother me, but if you drink to get drunk every time I will get annoyed.

I realize I may have come off as a jerk but I really am a gentleman. Truth is, I have been treated like dirt by most women when I try to be genuine. I have learned that most women SAY they want a nice guy but are really looking for someone that is a complete ass, drunk, and/or idiot. I am not that guy. I am the guy that knows how to cook, that keeps his house and car clean and has a stable, full time job. I'm the guy who will give you more than just a massage; the guy who will go see a chick flick with you; the guy who will run around in some sprinklers or sneak into a pool late at night; or the guy who will change your oil. However, I am not your doormat and will not allow you to walk all over me. I have a spine and I don't put up with that.
