Hobbies: spending time with my dogs, reading, staying up to date with politics, going out for a drink with friends, love to attend hockey games
Goals: professionally, I'd like to move up the career ladder, possibly into administration; personally, I'd like to fall in love and start a family
Me: Sometimes I'm an introvert, sometimes I'm an extrovert. I'm assertive in my professional life but a chicken in my personal life. I lived in a different city for 12 years and moved back to the area in 2007. I thought it would be easy to meet people but I've had difficulty. Every one I know is married with children! I like to think I have a great sense of humor (runs on the dry side) and my friends tell me I'm really smart. I do have high standards; one of my pet peeves is when people don't know how to use grammar and/or can't spell.
Music: Dave Matthews Band, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Andrew Llyod Webber (pretty much everything with a few exceptions)

If we're meeting in person for the first time, I prefer something that takes 10 minutes or so. Meeting for a cup of coffee would be ideal.

If we've already met and this is our first date, I like to go somewhere where we can talk (not a movie).
