Let me start by saying that I'm not on here looking for a hook up, or a one night stand. I'm not into playing games and definitely don't do drama. I'm a grown woman who's as real as they come, and only prefer to associate myself with some real folks.

The most important thing about me is that I'm a single mother. I have a 12 year old son that is the best thing that every happened to me, and by far the best thing to come out of a very long and rough relationship. I was married, but have been single now for 4 1/2 years and I've grown alot from going thru all I've been thru. I work hard and try to live my life the best way i know how. My priorities and work come first always, but I do make time for some fun too, chill with my friends, watch a movie, maybe go a bar, or just ride around listening to music. I'm a very laid back person and can pretty much have fun in any situation.

I think more than anything I'm looking for a guy that I can be completely myself with, someone who is my best friend. I want someone that is kind, generous, thoughtful, kind-hearted, open, and just fun to be around. I would like for him to be someone that is expressive and not afraid to express their feelings or wants and desires. I'm not a mind reader, and have watched some potentially good relationships go down the drain because there were too many assumptions and not enough communication.

I love love love music....it is my passion. I love all kinds of music, but mostly R&B, Soul, Alternative, Rap, Hip/hop, and some blues and jazz. I like it all really. I can't sing for nothing, but I can play the piano, and I just know good music when I hear it.

No matter what I might say about myself tho, it will never compare to getting to know me and finding out for yourself...to know me is to love me... lol!

hmmm....let's see....I think I'm pretty much ok with anywhere we go. Maybe a nice dinner out, or one that is cooked for me is always nice too. Movies are hard on first dates b/c you really can't talk and get to know that person. I like listening to live bands too, so maybe a spot that has a nice atmosphere to go and sit at a cozy table and listen to music and maybe have some drinks. I'm very flexible, so wherever he chooses will be great with me.
