I am a mother to a 18 year old son, who means the world to me, we are like best friends. I have the best job in the world, as an oncology nurse for a doctor in my area. It is a tuff job, but the rewards and the patient/friends I have made along the way are so wonderful. I am an independent lady, who feels like my life is very complete, and having a great man in that life would only top it all off. I love to go to car shows, watch boxing on HBO, go to a movie every now and then, I actually love adventure, and am up to try anything new. I have raised my son, and am not looking to help raise whatever man comes into my world. Would like if he has a career or is working on a career path, and preferably has his own place(even room mates are fine), but he needs to be out of his parents house. I enjoy all the simple things life has to offer, and I am so not a materialistic kind of person. I love to talk, so if I run out of things to say...something isnt right! I would love to think that chilvary is not gone forever.

I think a first date should consist of a simple, quiet meal out, not at the movies(you cant talk there so you cant learn anything about someone) or at a bar(to noisy). Even an afternoon date for coffee and a stroll around a park or town. It shouldnt be too long, that way if the chemistry isnt there, it is not an uncomfortable thing to go through. Plus, a short and sweet date, will always make you want and look forward to the next date even more. So, I look forward to meeting anyone new, and am looking forward to a new adventure with someone special.
