My family and friends are THE most important to me, as I hold them very close. I am a very relaxed and simple person. I love the regular stuff, like staying home watching tv or a movie, or game night with family/friends. I also love going out to movies or to eat, as well as spending the perfect day out on the water fishing for the thrill and/or the trophy (my co-favorite hobby). I have no problem just hanging out and doing whatever, just as long as the person/people I'm with are having fun. Travel is also fun for me, as I love taking day trips up to the Chicago area for whatever reason. I am also a huge White Sox fan (yeah, yeah . . .), but my saving grace is that I also love the Bears, as I have only missed 1 home game since '03. I also follow the Blackhawks, Bulls (to an extent), ISU Redbird basketball, Northwestern football, and Illinois football & basketball. Raising my tropical fish is my other favorite hobby, as it is relaxing, fun, and also somewhat profitable, even though that's not why I'm in the hobby. But don't get me wrong, I also have 2 dogs and I like cats as well. I'm not a huge bar-goer, but I don't mind going out every now and then, as I will have a drink or two.

I graduated from Illinois St. with a Bachelors in Applied Computer Science, but don't let that turn you away because it did get boring and I am doing nothing with computers now. Instead, I am in retail until I know what I really want to do.

Music is also pretty important to me, as I have a fairly large CD collection. I'm a huge fan of classic rock, especially Styx, Journey, Led Zeppelin, Foreigner, AC/DC, the Who, Whitesnake, etc. But don't get me wrong, I love oldies as well as modern hits (Just can't get enough of those late night infomercials with Air Supply!?!). Just anything but country and rap.

I am just looking for someone who can break through my shyness (I am really shy, timid and quiet) and really get to know me, for friendship, and possibly for the long term. I prefer a smarter woman who has a beautiful face, especially the eyes and a gorgeous smile. But a fun and/or cute personality is just as important to me, if not more important. I would like someone with a similar personality and character as myself, but interests can differ, and would be welcome. I am also a very traditional and conservative guy. I love my life, as it is pretty full, but I am missing that special someone that can make me happy and that I can call my Angel.
