I am passionate about life! People are more important to me then things and every experience is an opportunity for growth. I am much younger in heart and soul then my age. I think it shows in my willingness to be flexible and easy going. At age 54 I went to college and changed careers. It was an amazing experience and I have never looked back. I love the affection that a solid relationship brings. I live with the ideal that there is no such thing as perfection. That is placing an unrealistic standard. I value honesty, trust, caring and having a good sense of humor is a must. Being able to laugh at yourself and learn from the experience is important to me. I find joy in the simple things; a long walk on the beach picking up sea glass or shells; the smell of the ocean. Quiet night with someone cuddled on the couch in front of a fire and talking or watching a good movie. One of my favorite movies is "Cinderella Man". However I am a sucker for any love story or character study; happy or sad ending. Yes I am a HOPEFUL romantic! Being at one of my favorite restaurants enjoying really good food with someone is a pleasure to me. It could be Seafood, Chinese, Continental, Italian, Thai or Vegetarian. I also enjoy going out, taking in a play, concert, working out, bowling, walking and absolutely love dancing! Music is important to me. My music taste runs from 1940's love ballads, Rock and Roll, Classical, Folk, Country (least favorite),Opera to Soul/R&B, but my favorite is Blues. When Ray Charles sings "Georgia" or I listen to BB King, I just feel it in my soul. I also enjoy reading and usually have two books going at once. One of my favorite books is "The Four Agreements". One of it's teachings is to practice impeccable speech; to use words with honesty and integrity. What a wonderful goal. Loving, laughing and living with a peaceful heart, a joyful attitude and thankful respect for all the good that comes my way is how I strive to live my life. I am happy with who I am, because I am the sum of the total of all my life experiences. I regret nothing and live for "what is" rather then for "what was", or "what if". Are you the person in my future? At the very least the experience of finding out will be worth the venture.

The place isn't important, as long as we can talk, just being present to one another. Whether it be at a quiet restaurant, cafe or a club listening to music, walking on the beach, sharing a cup of coffee. Somewhere we both want to be.
