I'm very open-minded, honest (almost to a fault) and I have a great sense of humor - even if the joke is on me! I'm responsible, disciplined and honorable (side-effects of 8 years in the Army). I strive to be active - going to the gym or swimming laps (4-5 x week). Don't get me wrong, I don't like it, it just needs to be done.

I love to watch movies (sometimes I think I should become a critic, I see so many) and play games (video and board, not mind). I also like to participate in some sports, but I don't like to watch them - on TV, that is; live is great. Ohio State Football is the exception. I like it better on TV - I feel closer to the action. Ohio Stadium is too big and I always have to sit so far away. Bummer. I love a lot of outdoor activities, except camping - another side-effect of the Army.

I love to travel. Hawaii is my favorite destination, so far, with Jamaica a close second. I would someday like to travel to Australia, Japan and Ireland.

I have an ...interesting... taste in music. It ranges from Ludacris and Pitbull to some classical and showtunes, with everything in between (boy bands and divas included). Unfortunately, I have a problem with music: I cannot dance to save my life. I even tried some ballroom dancing lessons and was told to give up. :) But that doesn't mean I wouldn't try with the right person.

My greatest aspiration at this time is to be the best father I can possibly be for my son (currently 6 years old).

Observation (or rant, if you will): Why do women, in general, say they're looking for a nice, honest guy, since all they seem to meet are @$$es. But when he comes along, they're not interested - or worse, they play him for a fool. Don't they realize that that's the catalyst that changes nice guys into those @$$es?! Alright. I'm done now. Resuming nice guy status in 3 ... 2 ... 1. :)
