About Me
I am currently working on an MA in ethno-history at UVic. In addition to school; I work as a resident advisor/community leader in UVic's dormatory residences. I am a teaching assistant for a couple of lower and upper level Canadian history courses that look at labour, social, women's, cultural, and religious issues. I have worked in a variety of fields from the Canadian Armed Forces Naval Reserve (5 years part-time) to working as a camp counsellor and Network Facilitator with persons with mental and physical disabilities. I moved from Toronto to Victoria for school and the awesome year-round environment. I do plan ahead and have many ambitions like writing the LSAT for law school. However, I live in the present and am easy going, genuine, compassionate, and flexible. I love hanging out indoors and outdoors from Tofino and Mount Washington to Gold River. I like anything and everything in water. In addition, I relax via walks, hikes, and jogging. Cooking experiments and beach volleyball are some of my favourite ways to chill. I enjoy a good movie of any genre from comedy, to horror, to Bollywood. I like meeting new people and different types of people:) "Laugh, love, and live."
