"Lord, I have a problem!"
"I know you created me, this lovely garden, all these amazing animals, and that hilarious snake, but I'm just not happy."

"Well Eve I shall create a man for you."
"What's a man?" "Man will be a flawed creature. He'll lie, cheat and be vainglorious; all in all, he'll give you a hard time.
But... he'll be bigger, stronger, and will like to hunt and kill things. He will look silly when he's aroused, but since you've been complaining, I'll make him in such a way that he will satisfy your physical needs…sometimes.
He will be witless and revel in childish things like fighting and kicking a ball about. He won't be too smart, so he'll also need your advice to think."
"Sounds wonderful! What's the catch, Lord?"
Well... you can have him on one condition.
"What's that?" "He'll be proud, arrogant, and self-admiring...So you'll have to let him believe that I made him first. Just remember, it's our little secret…You know, woman to woman."

I’m originally from Mississippi and have been in the area for 4 yrs. I figured I should bring a little southern progressive enlightenment to my new home and make sure the many accomplished ladies know chivalry is not dead. Who am I? I’m a brother to 3 younger sisters. Not a mama’s boy, but I love my mom. I think the world of my father. I have books and poetry I want to write. Business ventures to start. Law School to prepare for. Looking forward to learning spanish. Guitar lessons are in my future. Anybody into biking? Curious about politics and policy. I think that my greatest strengths are my curiosity and my creativity. I’m a ravenous reader. I run and work out because I LOVE food. I’m a gadget fanatic. I’ve been to Russia and am hoping to go to China…wanna come? I’m not faster than a speeding bullet, but I have the shirt! So what am I looking for in a sidekick? Educated, unusual, attractive, sincere, funny, ambitious, and honest….I want to take all those and wrap them up with quirky and eclectic.

for fun:
good movies, a unique restaurant, the internet, reading, spending time with the fam., working out, lounges, traveling, chess, is "adventuring" a word?, live performances, volunteering… Funny Quote: "Get in the Game or get out of the way!"

my job:
I do have any interesting job. I do project management of technology related projects. I'm exploring opening my own business at some point in the future, so all of this "consulting" I've been doing over the last few years should prove useful.

my ethnicity:
Like most, I’m a collage, hodgepodge, or assortment of different ethnicities/races…specifically African, European, and native American. However, at the end of the day, I identify myself as Black/African American.

my religion:
I was raised Methodist in the South and certainly consider myself a Christian. I do my best to attend service every Sunday. I try and live my faith through good acts…I volunteer.
my education:
I got my degree in mechanical engineering from vanderbilt university. Finished with the LSATs....for now. In addition to more traditional forms of eduction, I'm really into self-education, so I always have a few books going.
