I have lived in Oregon for 40 years, and enjoy any opportunity to be out in nature. Trees, water, the beach, or sitting in front of a fireplace during a storm at the coast.

I'm pretty basic. No games. What you see is what you get. I enjoy lifes simple pleasures. Hiking into a waterfall followed by a picnic, the coast, camping, Duck Games, travel, great smells coming from the kitchen, hugs, making beer. I'm tactile, and am the one who likes to touch toes under the table at a restaurant, take your arm, and feel closeness rather than distance between us.

My mate needs to be in the no whining zone. Someone who looks to the future and wants to make it a positive experience. A man who has let go of the past, the ex's, and the baggage that went with them. A man who can appreciate a woman who is a combination of tomboy and lady. (I enjoy home improvement projects and am not afraid to get my hands dirty). I would rather paint the livingroom than spend a day at the mall. Someone who enjoys eating healthy most of the time, but can also enjoy pizza and a cold beer. An then, of course, there is dark chocolate and red wine.

Most of my life I have worked hard and am now ready to slow down and enjoy life.

A recent movie had the line "10 out of ten people end up dead" Now let that sink in. Kind of makes you want to cut the crap, and have a nice life with what time's left. I would like to meet a man to share the good times, and to lean on each other for the rest. A man who can laugh at himself, and with me.

Meeting at a public place, for coffe or a lunch, followed by a walk through the park.
