Okay, the basics first. I am a 39 y/o SWM who lives and works in Alpharetta. Although I would describe myself as career-minded, when I get away from the office I am a passionate traveler. I haven't done nearly as much traveling as I would like, but given the right companion, who knows? So far, I have seen Mexico, Canada, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, and Alaska (my favorite cruise so far)

When I can't get away to some exotic location, I enjoy keeping in shape by going to the gym 3-4 times a week or going for a jog or bike ride.

So, what am I looking for?

You should have a great, spontaneous sense of humor that is witty and irreverent. You should most definitely enjoy traveling and be willing to explore new places. You should also like trying new dining experiences in town. Ideally, you are not a smoker. You should be comfortable with who you are and not in need of someone to take care of you. Also, you should be okay with letting me be myself and not wanting to change or control me, as I would not do this to you.

I am open to most anything for a first date, as long as it allows us to talk and get to know each other. That means loud bars or movies are probably not the best bet. Quiet martini bars or coffee shops are best. If things progress nicely, we can go from there; wherever our moods take us.
