I'm an outdoor person. I'm a hard worker that also likes to play. I just need the right partner to help encourage me. I'm intelligent, honest, witty, funny, in great shape for my age, "young" for my age, and ready to find the last chapter in my "love" life and enjoy the journey getting there. I am easy going and love life and all it has to offer. I have a good sense of humor and am up front. You will not find anyone that you can talk to easier than me. I'm a very good communicator. I am way past all the games. I love most animals and enjoy mostly country music.

I have retired from teaching in Ok. and am working on my second retirement. I teach in Gainesville 5 days a week and try to work/play on my farm on the weekends (of course, the right person might just convince me to spend the weekends and/or the weekday evenings with them).

I'm an animal lover and my little dog "Buddy" is by my side most of the time. He is 1/2 Boston Terrier and 1/2 Rat Terrier. You can't tell from the picture but he weighs approx. 19 lbs. He's not a very big guy but you have to promise not to tell him :-) I have always had pets and love dogs and cats. My favorite pet of all time is Roxie. She is my released raccoon (released back on the farm in March 2003). She was saved from certain death and nurtured back to health and released back into the wild. She still comes when called (most of the time...afer all she is a wild raccoon) and still lets me brush her and scratch her back and tummy. She has had 6 litters so far and brings her babies to introduce them to me. Oh yes, some have asked so I'll tell you that my cat Cali is no longer with me. She stayed with my ex so I don't have a cat but I do love them.

I am very affectionate and love to hold hands, snuggle, cuddle, etc. I would like to meet a lady who likes the outdoors and is ready to find the last chapter of her love life too. I'm not into drama and am looking for someone who isn't either. I'm an open book..what you see is what you get. As it is now, my goal is to finish this second retirement, build a really nice log home on my farm and retire there. My farm is 160 acres but I'd like to expand that when I can. It is loaded with wildlife and I really enjoy the peacefullness and serenity. Of course this is only a goal and may change when I have a partner to meld goals with. I would also like to do some traveling at that time and see some of the things that I haven't been able to up till now. It would really be nice to share this with a nice lady who might have similar interests.

One other thing. I open up pretty quick but sometimes need for the lady to make contact with me rather than the other way around. So.....if you are interested don't be too shy to contact me. Then we can go from there.
