Ok, so I've never done something like this before, but my best friend found the girl of his dreams on here recently, so I'll give it a try. I am painfully shy and horrible in social settings, but I'm hoping to get over that (I mean, I can't be someone's mate if I'm not a complete person now can I)? Ok...so on to the red "quick guideline bullet points" for my description.

1)I love to watch Anime, play video games, and watch movies. I also love to draw and play music. My favorite Anime is Rurouni Kenshin and Ouran. I mostly PC game, but also own a Wii, PS3, and Xbox360. I love cult classics, like Army of Darkness.
2)I have a BFA in computer animation and interactive design; my original plan was to storm into the video game industry, but it's just not a secure source of income (yeaah, don't make a living off of your hobbies). So I picked up a second degree (BSN). I'm currently a nurse and plan on moving on to a Masters, but I also want to travel and have children. ~ this might scare some of you off, but, I had to give up a wonderful relationship because children of our own wasn't going to be possible in our future together.

4)I consider myself a jack of all trades. I'm decent at doing several different things, like learning a new instrument, or attempting to draw a manga. I'm average at most though; not too bad, and not awesomely supreme.
5)I love all music, EXCEPT COUNTRY!!1!1!one!!! Toss me some j-pop, deth metal, classical, techno, R&B, rap, alt, new age...

That's me in a nutshell. Oh, and if you get the bullet point 3) reference...I'm soooo replying in a heartbeat. ^_^

I joined this site a month ago, and have no real connection to it anymore, so I don't visit it often except to chat with a few people with similar interests. IF YOU WANT A RESPONSE, ENTER YOUR FAVORITE ANIME/MANGA IN THE SUBJECT HEADING OF THE EMAIL. Otherwise, I'm bound to skip over it!

I'm not up for dating right now, I'm just looking for friends with similar interests, that may or may not lead to dating. I guess, I'd like to do something that keeps me busy...like an activity. Let's say for example, a sculpting class, game convention or a volunteer event. Having something to keep my hands busy kinda makes me more bearable to be around because of my shyness. Now that I think of it, maybe a RockBand/Guitar Hero party might be a good place to start. Also, maybe...skip out on any kind of activity that involves drinking, because I am a light weight and will be sawing logs under the coffee table in a matter of minutes. Bar scene? No thanks, I'm looking for someone to enjoy the bar scene with, not to meet in.
