I have been described as an easy going guy with a good sense of humor. The term straight shooter comes up all the time as I tell it the way it is. I am single, never been married, no children , no baggage.

I work out and have been doing so for the past 10 years, haven't stopped. When I set my mind to do something I do it. Just recently started boxing.

I am happy where I am in life right now, I worked in the high tech sector for a decade as a design engineer for a telecommunications company. I worked in BC as a logger ( tree feller ) so I have been in both blue collar and white collar occupations. I am a Canada Scholar so I am intelligent enough to know not to judge a book by it's cover. I feel lucky I work for myself now and couldn't be happier.

I don't think happiness is just a car or bigger house away, or, I'll be happy if only this or that happened. I have everything I need but it would be nice to have someome to share life with.

In the summer I like to go camping or hiking and cruise around in my car with the top down when the weather is nice. I ski ( not mandatory ha ha ) in the winter.

I like many types of music, old rock and roll, some of the new stuff but for some reason I have been listening to jazz lately. There's a billion songs out there and they play 40 over and over so I decided to try jazz and I like it.

I am open minded and believe in treating people well. I don't take things too seriously, what I mean to say is, you have to go out and support yourself, by being an honest, reliable person, but I do not take myself too seriously and can see amusing things in myself as well as all around me. If I can't make you laugh you aren't breathing.

I am not the jealous or controlling type, you do what you want, when we are together then that's great, simple as that. I am older than 42 but the system won't let me change it. I do not and will not play games, I am straight forward and honest and expect the same of anyone I would spend time with.

I am looking for a friend and someone to enjoy life with. Life is short, you are dead a long time.
