I am a country girl through and through and I'm looking for a good old country boy.

I am currently a student in a Veterinary Technology Program and completely love the career path I've chosen. I'll be graduating in May '10. I grew up in a small town in south central IA, so living in the city has me feeling a bit like a fish outta water. I love to go home every chance I get to see family and friends, they help me find my center when school starts getting kinda hairy.

I love country and classic rock music and when it comes to movies, comedies are my fav, but I'm a movie buff in general. Pretty much anything that will make me laugh or have a good time is a plus. I like to think that I have a good head on my shoulders. Smiling is my favorite, I love to have fun, and hang out with friends and family. I don't go out drinking very often, but do still enjoy it every now and again. I try to go to country music concerts as often as possible, like to sit back and watch a NASCAR race (go chevy racing!), fishing on the river with my dad and older brother, and I love to hang out around a bonfire drinking beer. I've got a great group of close friends whom I love dearly. I was raised around hunting, fishing, and horses so that stuff's second nature to me.

What do I look for in a man? I want a man that is good, honest, hard working, someone I can trust and respect whole-heartedly. I want a man who knows exactly how to make me laugh at any given moment, but also knows how to make me melt into his arms. I want someone I can have fun and play with, but also have meaningful conversations. He needs to be driven and ambitious. Ideally he's going to be involved in agriculture, as I myself have always been drawn to that field. Family and friends must be important to him. I want a "good ole boy". I'm a simple kind of girl and I want a simple kind of man. I want a man that is looking to eventually settle down in a few years and start a family, have some kids in 4-H. So, that's my "want list". However, this is not describing my Mr. Perfect, well, because I don't want someone who is perfect. There is beauty in imperfections. Hell, I'm not even close to perfect and never want to be because perfect is rather boring.

My ideal first date would be catching a bite to eat and chatting. Then maybe cruising the back country roads and ending up staring at the stars and talking for hours into the night. But that's just ideal. I'm always up for suggestions.
