I am a semi-retired guy who definitly enjoys both the physical and mental aspects of life. I own my home (along with Uncle Sam) and have absolutely no debt.

I spent the first dozen or so years of my youth travelling the globe (some Europe, mostly Central and South America and all of the states). I have to admit though, that as a person of the hippie persuasion in my early years, most of it was, shall we say, third class. However, I still go south as much as possible and still prefer doing so on a traveller rather than tourist basis; that is how you get to meet real people and experience real culture, at least in my humble opinion. Since I travel this way, I have been invited to visit with people of many walks of life and have been welcomed into their homes, some wealthy, some of extreme poverty, with all being equal in the great scheme of things.

There are so many wonderful things to experience that only cost time, energy and a willingness to pursue it.

As a person, I consider myself to be unobtrusive, undemanding, easy going and considerate of others, regardless of their stature in life. I believe in treating a woman as a lady, first and foremost. I like women who have a sense of humor and don't take themselves or others over-seriously. Karma works.

Life is good, and no matter what it deals to us, it is always better than the alternative.

The first date can be almost anything that is of interest to either party and is non-threatening to either.
