Successful men with ambition need only apply please-(by successful I mean driven, have a "career" or you are pursuing your career by going to college-basically no bums!)--Im on here because my friend told me about this site, so I thought Id come check it out. Ive enjoyed being single, but also wouldnt mind find a good person to share my time with : ) I am a trauma nurse and I still love adrenaline, im just slightly more cautious now! LOVE MY JOB. Beginning in the next yr or so i will be starting my masters program. Everything in my life is perfect now, except no one to share it with (well of course for my beautiful daughter, she is 6 yrs old and the light of my life!!!) I write music for fun. I have been modeling since I was 9 yrs old and still pursue it on the side. The things that make me unique is I am sooo optimistic, even faced with heartache I am not broken down. Basically Im driven through any obstacle. I always carry a smile, I am a big big smart ass, very down to earth, pretty blunt about things, independent, and can have fun doing just about anything! I love all diff kinds of music...I listen to it all!

The 'first date' thing is hard, because it is so cliche. Usually with a first date Ill ask a guy what his interests are and then I can think up what would be fun for us. I DO NOT like the movie theatre as a first date. How exactly can you talk and get to know each other? I like going to dinner. This, in most cases, is if you are dating someone you already know. If you are dating someone you are already friends with it is easy to go out for dinner to see if anything sparks, but if you dont know someone it may be better to go out for coffee, or just a beer at a bar because its short, and if your into them you'll continue on with the night, whereas if you went to dinner and you felt uncomfortable, or didnt have any interest what-so-ever you would have to sit there the whole dinner, not so good for both parties. But this also just depends, very situational
