I am the type of person that could be the farthest away and the quickest to get to my friends if they needed me. I am compassionate, giving, and always ready for an adventure! I am currently coming out of an 7 year marriage, however, it was over probably 6 years and 364 days before we parted ways! And that is ok. Things happen and sometimes we have to accept things for what they are and move on. So THAT is what I am doing. (We have been seperated for almost 15 months... he is just being stubborn about the whole thing, it's not ugly, he just likes to drag things out...it was HIS choice to leave, go figure, haha BUT court is soon)

I do have 2 wonderful stepsons that I have a great relationship with and their mom is actually one of my best friends. Strange I know, but it's wonderful how it worked out. I do not have any children of my own and at this point in my life I am not sure how I feel about it. I am a marketing and education rep in the healthcare industry and truly love my job. If you want to know more about this, I will explain, but what I do is very rewarding. I love to run and have committed to running a marathon in memory of my dad that passed away September 2008 from pancreatic cancer. I am an animal lover and have two dogs and one cat. I am a Christian and rely on my faith to get me through each day.

My heart is big and I love to share my life with my friends, family, and when the time is right - the man that deserves my heart.

As far as what I am looking for, well, I can't say that I am actively "looking" for anything. I am enjoying my new life. I have such a wonderful group of friends. I guess, when it happens - it will happen. Over the years, I have learned you can't force things into being right... they just are right. And it is easy to see from the start when they are not meant to be. Honesty, trust, integrity, strong moral fiber... these are the top attributes that I have in mind! It is what someone can expect from me and, as I am getting this all figured out, what I know I want from someone else.

There is no blueprint for a first date. It should certainly be something that goes with the flow!
