I was placed here in Georgia 6 years ago for my profession right out of college. 3 years ago i moved to Midtown from the suburbs because I came to the realization that it is kinda hard to meet people and make friends in the land of strip malls and Walmart shopping centers. i love the city of Atlanta. I like that everything i enjoy is close: mountains, lakes, beach, countryside, great restaurants, and great people! I have made a lot of great friends and met a lot of people here in Atlanta but just not that one person yet who I look forward to meeting to share all of the great things that life has to offer and to also be there when times are not so good! OK, that's the background on why I'm here so a little about me. I grew up in a small town in Indiana my whole life. With my friends and family i enjoyed camping, riding dirt bikes, and taking care of the animals on my grandparents farm but always looking forward to see what else was out there. A few things I enjoy are: traveling, outdoor concerts at lakewood, sports, animals, tennis, volleyball, wine, home cooked meals, water sports, the beach, dining out, movies, horses, hiking with my dog, and trying new things. I listen to all types of music. I like motorcycles and boats and airplanes. I have my private pilot license so I enjoy go up with my friends and enjoy the beautiful view from 3000' ft. I like to stay in shape by exercising a few times a week. I am very laid back and always try to treat people with the same respect that I wish to be given to me. I would rather go out dancing with my girlfriend instead of going out to find a girl. I would describe myself as genuine, open minded, confident, respectful, adventurous, kind, and mature. My match is someone that is sweet and treats others with respect and kindness but who also has a sarcastic and silly side to keep me on my toes. Someone who enjoys activities like going boating, playing putt, amusement parks, listening to live music , or taking trips to nearby cities to explore what different areas of the country are like, but also someone who does not mind staying home on a Friday or Saturday night and BBQ'ing with a DVD to watch on the couch. Definitely someone who is confident and takes care of them self mentally as well as physically. Things and places i would like to do for the first time are: skydive, learn to play guitar, Mediterranean cruise, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Copenhagen, Brazil, Hike to Machu Picchu in Peru, China, Hawaii, Figi, Dubai, Egypt, France, Spain, Australia and lots of other places i have yet to read about! I started traveling 3 years ago and got hooked! I get 5 weeks of vacation every year and like to go some place new every time. In 2008, I went to Argentina, Prague, Seattle, Vancouver, and Puerto Rico. So far this year i have been to Costa Rica and what my be my new favorite, Cape Town, South Africa. The beaches, mountains, and wine country were all breathtaking and the people so friendly! I am looking forward to what other adventures 2009 and beyond brings and hope to meet someone to share them with!

Im an Air traffic Controller in Atlanta Radar Center. I got into the profession because I have loved airplanes since I was a little boy. I really like the job as a career. Its not an easy job but it challenges me everyday.
