I am an avid bicyclists, and enjoy a healthy, physically active life style.
I like the outdoors with hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, backpacking, camping, and bird watching as some of my interests.
I enjoy music. I sing bass in the church choir, with a barbershop quartet, and in a local chorale. I play trumpet with a jazz orchestra, at special church ocassions, and for relaxation. I don't enjoy rap or nasal country music.
I am a member of Rotary International, and I volunteer at the local hospital and fine arts organization.

A first date would consists of some outside activity. A combination of physical exersion and conversation will allow us to get acquainted without the everyday interuptions (cell phones would be used only for emergencies).

Next would be dinner at a nice restaurant with soft lighting and low background music to stimulate the philosophical conversation of what makes us happy now and our hopeful thoughts for the future.

The rest of the evening would be spontaneously orchestrated by us. I am a spur-of-the-moment individual; long detailed time-table planning is not one of my virtues.

This great 'first date' would end whenever we decided.
