I was born and raised on a farm in South Dakota. I grew up with John Wayne as a role model, as in woman belong on a pedestal and chivalry is paramount. Yes I know it makes me a dinosaur but we are who we are. I have two children 15/18 who have always lived with me. I own my own construction business, don't get excited its just me and my truck, but I have never collected unemployment or not paid a debt. No drugs, smoking, tattoos, piercings, jail time, DUIs, gambling, bankruptcies or affairs. Sounds pretty boring when you write it all down, but I find that life has so much more to offer if you have the right woman to share it with.
Family and friends are very important, but at the end of the day it is all about the woman who is your best friend and lover. The one you want to talk to, to hold and caress, to whisper in her ear that she is everything. The one that you want to share every experience with. That is what truly drives me to be the best that I can be.
I am the treasurer of a hunting, fishing and trap club. It was supposed to be for 2 years and that was 17 years ago. If I can keep a bunch of heavily armed men content you know I must be honest, lol.
I prefer to look at the positive side of any given situation. The negative is just a waste of time and in the end robs you of opportunities that come our way.
I like classic rock, southern rock and country music to get my heart beating and my feet moving. But I can listen to classical music with a glass of wine and bring everything down to a peaceful calm. Which is important when you have children, lol.

Years ago my first date would have consisted of some elaborate night out on the town, dinner, dancing, flowers, a concert or show. But age and two older sisters have taught me that the first date should be quiet and public. It may sound simple and cheap, but meeting for coffee is by far the best way to meet a complete stranger for the first time. It takes all the stress out of the moment. Hopefully the connection is a good one and you will have the whole day ahead of you to do something together.
